The Show In My Head

Hey all. The Podcast is still dead, but I’ve been contemplating a blog called “the show in my head,” so called because so often I’ll be watching an anime and just go, “Why did you waste a perfectly good plot that I could see coming a mile away!?”

I’m not sure if there will be any followup to this, but I figured I’d post the first column I wrote on that topic here. It’s on a contemporary show, “And You Thought There Is Never A Girl Online.” Enjoy!

Videos with Things I Inflicted on Paranormal Rob

It occurs to me that, as we go into the official start of the Hiatus, there are two videos that the Five Point Podcast was involved with that DIDN’T ever get posted here. Well, indirectly involved with. See, our multiple-time guest star, Rob the Wonderful, has actually reviewed three shows that donated to him by me (Bobcat). And since we like it when Rob gets views, I’m putting ’em here. Enjoy!

Episode 60: Michiko and Hatchin

Buy the series on Amazon: Michiko & Hatchin: Complete Series Part 1 [Blu-ray]

Much delayed, we finally have Episode 60, featuring returning guest star Schroedinger’s Matt! We look at the anime Michiko and Hatchin and give it the ol’ Five Point review.

Explanation, Hiatus and New Episodes

Well folks, the last time we had an update here was back in October. I think you all deserve an explanation, and it should have come faster than this.

Basically, things for Burk and I in the “not internet” space have been a mix of busy and ugly. Unfortunately, we have no choice but to go on another indeterminate hiatus, and I can’t say when or if we’ll be back with regular reviews.

However, our most recently recorded episode, featuring Schrodinger’s Matt, will be going up soon, as will two episodes that we had in the backlog that we’d planned to release as part of the now cancelled Dragon Month. That’ll be one today, then a couple of more over the next two weeks, so as not to overwhelm everyone.

Apologies to everyone for the long silence, and hopefully we can start producing content of some sort on a regular basis again.

Good night and good luck.

Go Hawks.
